Fluoropolymers
For
over a decade, Arbonite Division of P & R Industries, Inc. has
applied fluoropolymer linings and coatings such as Kynar®
(PVDF) and Halar®
(ECTFE). We can offer Kynar®
linings in sheet form (60, 90 or 120-mils thick) or in a spray-applied,
high-bake formulation (usually 25 mils nominal thickness). We apply
Halar®
linings in sheet form only.
Fluoropolymer
materials are often used in applications where product purity is
extremely critical, such as ultra-high purity acids. They also offer
excellent corrosion and chemical resistance at elevated temperatures.
Kynar®
and Halar®
linings are installed in the following equipment

storage tanks
- Process vessels
