AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ARBONITE'S BUSINESS PARTNERS
Arbonite experienced a severe fire early in the morning of November 20, 2012.
The fire destroyed our Building One; fortunately, nobody was in the building,
nobody was injured, and no environmental damage was done.
We have three other buildings that, although undamaged, were affected because
our power and gas were routed through Building One and both services were cut
off as a safety measure. On Monday, December 3, 2012, we restored power,
gas, and operations in our remaining three buildings. Our administrative offices
suffered smoke and water damage so we have moved our business operations to
temporary offices located on site.
All of the production processes performed in Building One are duplicated in our remaining three buildings.
In the coming months, we will replace Building One with
a state-of-the-art facility housing new equipment.
Our raw material inventory was stored in Building One.
Everything was destroyed by the fire or the intense heat
and we're replacing what was lost.
However, we will not be able to replace everything at once, so if you foresee any immediate
needs, please let us know so that we can make certain we have the proper materials on hand.
Bob Rice and our field service division were not
affected. His contact information is unchanged.
On behalf of all of Arbonite's employees and vendors,
thank you for your concern and support. In particular, we're grateful for
the services provided by the Doylestown Fire Department,
the Doylestown Police Department, and the firefighters
from neighboring communities who responded quickly, controlled the fire, and kept everybody safe.
We appreciate your business and we look forward to continuing to service your lining needs.
Thanks again and happy holidays!
President, Arbonite/P&R Industries, Inc.
